$35 Movie Ticket
We're tired of hearing people whine about how expensive movie tickets have gotten. It's inflation. Deal with it.
Now a company called Gold Class Cinemas is working on opening up a chain of theaters across the country that will really make frugal bastards cry. Forget waiting in line for tickets and fighting that 14-year old and her posse of pimple-faced brats for the best seats. You'll also have more food options than popcorn covered in artery-clogging pseudo butter and diabetes-inducing candy. For $35 a ticket ($25 for matinee), you'll get to pick your seats online and simply pull your car up to valet service. When you get to your arm-chair reclining seats, just push a button and your server will show up to take your order from a gourmet menu. While not included in the ticket price, your dining options will include things like a $19 Wagyu steak sandwich and Ahi tuna on crostin. And instead of soda, you'll have the option of ordering a glass of Pinot from an extensive wine collection.
The first Gold Class Cinemas theater in the US just opened in South Barrington, Illinois with another one opening up soon in Redmond, Washington.
