Jeremy Clarkson Loves the Corvette ZR1

jeremy clarkson corvette zr1 car of the year
Fans of Top Gear know that Jeremy Clarkson doesn't think very highly of American cars. That's why it was a shocker when the slightly daft host recently called the Corvette ZR1 his car of the year. While he doesn't think the car is perfect, noting that "it's not built very well", he still found the car "both docile and extraordinarily savage, looks good, goes fast in a straight line and around corners, most of the time bumbles about like a forgetful uncle and costs lots for a Corvette but is a bargain for the performance". While we generally share the same distaste for today's American cars, we did fall in love with the Corvette this past June at the Bondurant School (admittedly, we were driving a stock Vette and not the ZR1).
