Audi Carbon Skis

I might be the only person from the state of Oregon that doesn't know how to ski.  I tried once in college but some little girl cut me off on the bunny slope and I ended up breaking my thumb.  No more skiing for me ever since that fiasco.  Even though I can't ski, I love these Audi Carbon Skis that I found on FlyLyf.  Read more about them here.

Franck Muller iPhone Cases

Luxury brand Franck Muller is best known for their unique watches but they have now branched out into the crowded field of iPhone cases.  For a mere $1270, you can purchase one of the limited edition cases from Japanese iPhone provider SoftBank.  Crew member Tandori has been spending a lot of time in the Land of the Rising Sun and is on his fifth iPhone so we expect him to buy one of these cases shortly.

Ciclotte Stationary Bike

Why in the world would you spend over ten grand on an exercise bike?  When it looks as damn sexy as the Ciclotte Stationary Bike that we found on Gear Patrol.  Made in Italy from carbon, steel and glass fiber, the Ciclotte features an epicycloid crank system which spins the magnetized main wheel and has up to 12 resistance levels.  Buy the bike for $10,700.

Jet Around in a MonoTracer

You're probably staring at the picture above and wondering what the heck it is.  Is it a car?  A motorcycle?  Not exactly.  What you're looking is the MonoTracer by the Swiss-based company Peraves.  The current gas-powered version features a Kevlar cockpit, iPod connectivity, electric sunroof, navigation system, and even storage space for your luggage.  In addition, this sleek two-seater can reach a top speed of 160 mph and get up to 60-70 mpg.  An electric version which can hit 200 mph won the Progressive Insurance X Prize last Fall and will go into production this Spring.  The current MonoTracer starts at $75K, but sorry, it doesn't come with cupholders.

Buy John Lennon's Ferrari

If you're going to spend upwards of $200K for an exotic car, why not buy one with a little bit of history.  On February 11 in Paris, Bonhams will be auctioning off John Lenon's very first car: a 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 which he originally bought for £2,000.  It's expected to fetch slightly more this time around with a projected auction price of $155K to $220K.

Sleek by 50 Cent

In addition to being a rapper, producer, snow cleaning hustler, 50 Cent is now peddling his own line of headphones.  The Sleek was recently unveiled at CES and comes with some pretty cool features including wireless functionality up to 60 feet.  It also looks, well, pretty sleek (har har).  Price and release date are still TBD but rumors have the headphones retailing in the $350 range.

Porsche 918 RSR Racer

Porsche unveiled their latest creation today at the Detroit Auto Show: the 918 RSR Racer which is a hard-top, race version of the 918 Spyder Concept car.  The RSR is a hybrid racer powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine producing 563 horses plus two electric motors at the front wheels which put the total HP output to 767.  There's only one seat with a flywheel accumulator located where the passenger seat would be, which is used to store breaking energy and allows to driver to reuse as an on-track "turbo" button.  We can't wait to see the car in competition.

Acutouch 9500 Massage Chair

I've been on a massage kick lately, and with it spending way too much money on my masseuse Judy.  Perhaps I wouldn't have to go so often if I had this Acutouch 9500 massage chair that was featured at CES.  The Acutouch has customizable massage functions and features a detection system that can map pressure points on your back.  The best part for all you iPhone and iPad junkies is that the Acutouch has an associated app that you can download off iTunes which will let you control the massage chair.  At $5200 for the recliner and $100 bucks per weekly massage, I can justify the cost of the Acutouch if I forgo a year's worth of Judy's massages.  Not sure I'm ready to give up her heavenly hands quite yet.

You Can Pre-Order Your Lamborghini Aventador Now

The next-gen Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador won't even be officially revealed for at least a few months at the Geneva Motor Show, yet AutoSalon Singen in Germany is already willing to take a pre-order on a black-on-black model at a price of approximately $350,000 before taxes.  The car pictured above is just a spy pic and not the actual one for sale.

Real Expensive Sony Earphones

You better really like your music if you're going to spend $800 on a pair of these Sony MDR-EX1000 earphones.  Sure they're probably much, MUCH better than those silly little ear pods that come standard with every iPod, but still, 800 bucks??  So what makes them so good?  The technical merits according to Gizmodo include a custom 16mm driver made from liquid polymer with a response range between 3-30,000HZ.  We do not know what any of that means.

Gresso iPad Case

There seems to be an infinite number of cases available for your iPad, from crappy p.o.s. that you can buy at a mall kiosk all the way up to this uber-luxurious case by Gresso.  Their case is made from rare and old African Blackwood and features an 18-karat gold Apple logo.  The case goes on sale tonight but the price is TBD.  You can bet it'll be pretty pricey.
