Whenever the G Luxe crew hits Oahu, we tend to stay away from the Waikiki area as it really has turned into a crowded tourist trap filled with crappy hotels, cheesy vendors, and overweight main-landers. However, we now have a reason to head over to that side of the island with the opening of the latest Nobu restaurant located in the Waikiki Parc Hotel. For those who haven't been to a Nobu, expect fresh fish incorporated in both traditional and non-traditional Japanese sushi dishes set within a chic, sexy setting. After dinner, we suggest you make a bee-line out of Waikiki back to your hotel (the Ihilani is our resort of choice).
