You’ve got to love a company whose skull and crossbones emblem is inspired from an ancient military regiment and whose design philosophy is “subversive sophistication”, especially when the company also happens to make high-quality bespoke footwear like British firm
Barker Black. All their shoes are made by specialized craftsmen - many with over 20 years of experience at the company - out of the finest French and Italian leather. The shoes are left in a suspended wire frame for 15 to 30 days giving each pair more than adequate time to retain its unique shape. Finally, the shoes are finished by hand and on select styles, the skull and crossbones logo is hand-tacked on the shoe.
