So I get a call from Crew Member Tandori earlier this past week. He was calling from a hospital somewhere in the Caribbean. Why was he in the hospital you may ask? Well apparently boy genius didn't bother drinking any water during a 48 hour binge of drinking, partying and snorkeling while on a three-week sailing trip. Oddly enough, his failure to take in any non-alcoholic liquids during a two-day period wasn't the stupidest thing he did during the trip.
"You said it was water-proof", indignantly stated Tandori. "You said all digital cameras were water-proof".
Despite being someone who enjoys reading books on quantum physics and has built a successful biotech company, Tandori still doesn't know the difference between left and right (giving him directions is a real bitch), is easily thrown off by an analog clock (confuses the hour and minute hands), and lacks any common sense, evidenced by the fact that he thought that all digital cameras, including the random one he picked up before his sailing trip, are water-proof. He realized that his assumption was false when the camera started shorting as he was trying to take pictures of turtles...underwater.
