Well, maybe not James Bond, but at least like Ian Fleming, the man behind the World's pimpest secret agent. The GoldenEye Hotel and Resort located in the northern coast of Jamaica and which served as Fleming's
Caribbean hideway, will re-open on November 12 after a two-year renovation. The 52-acre property offers 22 cottages and suites around a tranquil lagoon. The resort also has a spa and two restaurants serving authentic Jamaican cuisine. If possible, book the Fleming Villa which features three bedrooms, each with a private outdoor garden bath and rain shower, private swimming pool, access to a secluded private beach, and best of all the actual desk that Fleming used to write his Bond novels. Rates during high season start at $840 a night.
