Did you know there’s an
Hermes helicopter? Neither did we. Apparently this $10 million chopper currently resides in the Tokyo area and is being used by Virgin Atlantic and ANA to shuttle their Business and First class customers from downtown Tokyo to Narita airport, a 30 minute trip that usually takes up to 2 hours by car. If you’re interested in the heli-ride and hold one of the premier tickets, just call the airline 72 hours in advance to make the reservation. Since Crew Member Tandori spends quite a bit of time in Tokyo for business, we’ll ask him to give it a try next time he’s out there.
