H&M Meets Lanvin

What does haute couture have to do with H&M?  Usually nothing.  However, for Fall/Winter 2010, Lanvin which is one of France's oldest fashion houses is teaming up with the everyday person's retailer to come out with a new collection that will be available in stores starting November 23rd. 


We see how this is good for H&M, but we don't understand why luxury labels like Lanvin are willing to dilute their brands by going down market.  In any case, check out their video promo below.
