Brazilian supermodels, Brazilian thongs, and now a Brazilian supercar? Before you scoff, keep in mind that Brazil does have a rich automotive racing heritage with some of the world’s top drivers including Tony Kanaan and Felipe Massa hailing from this South American country. We hope that some of that racing prowess would translate into capable supercars. Set to debut at the Sao Paulo Auto Show, the Rossin-Bertin Vorax looks like a Maserati customized by Batman – at least that’s what it looks like to us based on current renderings. The RBV is powered by either a naturally aspirated 570 hp BMW V-10 engine or a 750 hp supercharged version, either of which should be sufficient for a car featuring a carbon fiber body and an aluminum chassis. Between 500-1000 of this Brazilian beast will be available for about $400K starting in either late 2011 or early 2012.
