Rich people agree, Porsche rules


The Luxury Institute (yes there is such a thing) recently polled the top 10 percent earners in the US with an average income of $349,000 and average net worth of $3.7 million, and asked them to rank car-makers based on their perceived status. Coming in at numero uno is our beloved Porsche brand. Rounding out the list is Lexus and Mercedes Benz. We were curious to see if Tata Motors beat out Ford and GM.
