French Press Heaven

Bodum 8-c. Chambord Coffee Press

I'm not what you would call a morning person. However, every morning I wake up a little earlier than I would normally have to just to make myself a cup of French-pressed coffee. I first fell in love with this method of making coffee at the Casa Fuente cigar bar in Las Vegas. Now I have to admit, I'm not sure whether it was the coffee or the gorgeous Latina beauties that served the coffee that got me hooked. Regardless, I now only make coffee one way: four heaping scoops of coffee grinds, steeped in hot water for four minutes to the second, pressed, than poured on top of exactly two packets of sugar in the raw and then finished with two splashes of French vanilla cream. When I've got a little more time, I'll enjoy that wonderful caffeinated nectar with a fresh cigar out of my humidor. Life is good.

You can purchase this Bodum French Press, which is the exact model I have, at Cooking.com for $39.95. Come on, dump the Starbucks habit and make yourself a little bit of heaven at home.
