This is almost too good to be true. The La Aurora 1495 Series is a great cigar. It's a medium to full-bodied smoke with a nice creamy flavor. Usually a box of 25 can go for over $150. Finally! After 2-weeks of anxious pacing my cigars have arrived. Here they are in all their gloriousness, bubble wrapped in their eco friendly recycled cardboard shipping box. The wrappers have a nice oily sheen-similar to well worn leather showing that the company choose this particular dominican shade leaf well. Can't wait to have with my coffee and eggs this weekend.
Sometimes you just have to circle back and offer tidbits on what the experience. This particular rendezvous with the Aurora was heavenly as expected. The full-bodied cigar looked the part, exhibiting notes of coffee, cedar, with hints of pepper. The oily wrapper lent well to the draw which was perfect. A bullet punch, then strike of cedar matches and she came alive with incendiary passion. She was great with a cup of coffee and newspaper.
