Weekend Smoke: CAO Mx2 Robusto

cao mx2 cigar
The best part of waking up is definitely not Folgers in your cup. For me, especially on the weekends, it's making my special brew and lighting up a tasty cigar. We're starting a new series on G Luxe called Weekend Smoke where we'll review a select cigar that we happen to be enjoying that particular weekend.

This morning, I lit up a delicious cigar from one the Crew's favorite brand, CAO. The Mx2 is a limited edition smoke that is derives a good deal of its rich flavors from two wrappers: an oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro and an inner Brazilian Maduro wrapper. Rounding out the cigar is a blend of long-filler tobacco from Nicaragua, Honduras, Peru and the Dominican Republic. The Mx2 looks great, with its oily dark exterior just begging you to have a taste. The cigar burns well and there is a wonderful, rich tobacco sweetness in both the aroma and flavor that I absolutely love. This is a medium to full bodied smoke so make sure to have some breakfast before you light one up. Unless of course, you're a cigar veteran like yours truly. All I needed was my cup of coffee. We found a great deal on the Mx2 at Famous Smoke Shop where you can buy a box of 20 for $70.
