Lingerie Football League (seriously)

Crewmember Tandori recently caught the football bug. After spending a lifetime befuddled by things like the shotgun formation and the Icky Shuffle, Tandori is now a devout NFL fan, staying up all night catching games while he's in Tokyo, London, or wherever his shady business takes him. He's even joined our fantasy football league, deftly managing his team to a current 10th place position (out of 14 teams).

Recently, Tandori inquired how much it would cost to buy an NFL team - because he was interested in buying one, not just out of general curiosity. After I stopped laughing, I told him that a team might be a smidge outside his price range. Well it seems Tandori's dream of owning a football team might actually be in the realm of possibility if he sets his sights a bit below the NFL.

The Lingerie Football League is set to begin its inaugural season in less than 120 days. After a number of successful Lingerie Bowls that took place as pay-per-view events during Super Bowl halftimes, the LFL will be playing a full season, represented by 10 teams including a couple from Southern California (the Los Angeles Temptation and the San Diego Seduction). While the level of play might not be up to par with their NFL brethren, the tight ends will definitely be more enjoyable to watch.
