Fans of The Simpsons remember the episode where Homer ends up feeding and raising a lobster he named Pinchy before he accidentally boiled him while giving him a bath. Freaking hilarious. Well it looks like a real-life, 20 lbs, 140 year-old lobster named George will get a better fate as he was recently freed by City Crab and Seafood in New York City after the PETA crowd protested for his release. He was dropped in the waters near Kennebunkport, Maine where lobster trapping is forbidden. Hopefully Crew Member Tandori doesn't read this as he'll probably head up to Maine to try to catch George and eat him. Why would he do this? 1) he loves lobster, 2) he hates PETA, and 3) he just a jackarse.
