A food festival in Hawaii. Doesn't that just sound fabulous. The second annual Kahala Food & Wine Classic will take place September 12-13 at the Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu. This year, the festival will take on a "G'Day Meets Aloha" theme where festival goers will get an opportunity to enjoy cuisine from both Australia and Hawaii.
On September 12, experience the "walk-about" dinner where you'll get to walk to different locations for delicious courses by Aussie chef Brent Savage and local chef Beverley Gannon ($135 per person). The next day, learn to cook up your own island feast at the "Barbie on the Beach" cooking class ($75 per person). Other events during the festival include various wine and cigar tastings.
