The Bud of Vodkas, Not Really
We're always suspicious of non-luxury brands that try to go up-market with luxury products. That's probably why we're still suspicious of Lexus and Infiniti cars, and why we probably should be suspicious of Purus Vodka, made by the same folks who make that iconic NASCAR beer, Budweiser. Our friend Callie C. may want to give Purus a taste since as a vodka lover and avid member of the Green movement, she'll be intrigued by the environment-friendly bottle and the fact that this premium spirit is made of locally harvested 100 percent organic Italian wheat cultivated without the use of pesticides or commercial fertilizers. Bottles of Purus go for around $35 per bottle. Go to purusvodka.com to learn more.
