I've been an Indy Car fan ever since Danny Sullivan and his famous Spin and Win victory in the 1985 Indianapolis 500. Recently, the two major open-wheel racing series in the States agreed to merge, bringing the Champ Car and IRL series together under the Indy Car Series banner. This weekend, the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will host the final Champ Car race...ever. I'm actually thrilled since I've always thought that it was stupid for there to be two Indy car leagues.
