Luxe of the Day: The BeerTender

The BeerTender
Most guys have dreamed of having their very own keg ever since their college hey days. But because of practical and wifey reasons, most have sadly not been able to realize their dreams. Things may change with the BeerTender, a home mini-keg system jointly developed by the fine folks at Keineken and Krups. Weighing in at just 13.5 lbs (without the beer), the BeerTender comes in two versions: the B90 ($279) comes with a ready-to-drink temperature light and volume indicator, and the B95 ($299) features an adjustable temperature control, 30-day freshness countdown calendar, and volume indicator. If you're a greenie, don't worry, the BeerTender only uses up as much electricity as a single light bulb. So far, this glorious contraption only accepts DraughtKeg cannisters filled with Heineken and Heineken Light but its rumored that they'll soon release versions for other brands including Amstel. If you're interested in purchasing your own BeerTender, go to BeerTender.com.
