Bespoke

Do you know where the term "bespoke" came from?  According to the recently released book Bespoke: The Men's Style of Savile Row, it was used when referring to cloth for a suit that was "be spoken for" by "stylish and tasteful men."  This and other interesting facts can be found in the book which provides you with 256 pages of illustrated history of bespoke tailoring.  Buy a copy for $41.
