It's Polo Time in New York

Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic
I got to be honest with you, the only thing I know about the sport of polo is that it's played by rich dudes, horses are involved, and based on the movie Pretty Woman, sexy gold-diggers are never too far away. Our friend Karla however, is a huge fan and recently suggested that we check out some polo action at the local field in San Diego. She also mentioned that she's interested in attending the upcoming Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic that will take place on Governor's Island in New York on May 30th. The event will feature royal heart-throb Prince Harry who will be playing on the team captained by Nick Raldo, against the Black Watch team captained by Nacho Figueras (the face of Ralph Lauren's Polo fragrance). Tickets to the event will start at $500 for a picnic for two all the way up to $50,000 for a VIP table for 10. All proceeds from the event will benefit the American Friends of Sentable, a charity co-founded by Prince Harry to help the children of Lesotho.

All ticket holders will get a free VIP ferry pass that will take you from Manhattan to Governor's Island. And since this is a polo match and not some baseball game, gentlemen are asked to wear a suit and ladies should sport "their most daring hat".

Purchase your tickets by calling the Sentebale Benefit Office on 212 763 8596 or emailing sentebale@cmevents.net.
