I personally think that the current financial clusterfuck makes it a perfect opportunity to buy some good stocks for once-in-a-lifetime type prices. However, even the most seasoned value investor amongst us can't help but be a bit discouraged as stocks continue their unabated slide. Well, maybe it's time to look at other forms of investment other than what you can purchase through your favorite online broker. Take wine for instance. Vanquish Wine has released their list of top 10 investment wines for 2009, all of them from France and most are Bordeaux's and Burgandy's.
Should you really invest your kid's college tuition in wine? Who the hell knows, but think about it this way: if the nightmare global depression comes to fruition, at least you'll have some tasty wine to help wash the gloom away.
