Regular readers of G Luxe know that we hate Waikiki Beach. The crowds, the tacky tourists, the rude locals...yuck. Admittedly though, there are a few decent resorts on the beach including the five-star Halekulani Hotel. The hotel has recently opened the Orchid Suite, part of their Premier Suites collection. For the $7,000 nightly sticker price, you'll get a luxury beach cottage with a private waterfront lawn, and access to a private car, spa treatments and visits from Halekulani chefs. Note: the suite pictured is the Vera Wang suite.
