Trump Las Vegas Hotel

The newest high-rise hotel on the Las Vegas strip will bear the Trump name. The Donald's Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas will be opening on Monday, March 31. Rising 64 stories above the Strip and housing 1,232 well furnished suites and 50 penhouse suites, this property also has extensive spa facilities and fine dining. However, this hotel appears to be missing a few critical things for any self-respecting GLuxer: 1) no gaming (what the hell?), 2) no night club (ie. no sketchy girls), and 3) no shopping. With so many other hotels providing proper "adult" activities, we doubt that we'll be booking a room here anytime soon. Luxe of the Day: Vespa S

There are days when I dream of packing everything up and moving to some beach town in the Mediterranean and live out the rest of my life in Euro-Luxe fashion. French Press Heaven

I'm not what you would call a morning person. However, every morning I wake up a little earlier than I would normally have to just to make myself a cup of French-pressed coffee. I first fell in love with this method of making coffee at the Casa Fuente cigar bar in Las Vegas. Now I have to admit, I'm not sure whether it was the coffee or the gorgeous Latina beauties that served the coffee that got me hooked. Regardless, I now only make coffee one way: four heaping scoops of coffee grinds, steeped in hot water for four minutes to the second, pressed, than poured on top of exactly two packets of sugar in the raw and then finished with two splashes of French vanilla cream. When I've got a little more time, I'll enjoy that wonderful caffeinated nectar with a fresh cigar out of my humidor. Life is good.

Luxe of the Day: XIKAR Xi3 Havana Cigar Cutter

Here at GLuxe, we're avid cigar smokers. And as avid cigars smokers, we have tons of cigar cutters lying around the pad. Most, unfortunately, are of the cheapo variety that we received for free either from cigar events or as part of our frequent cigar orders.
